Longside Radio - Where Variety Matters

Hello. Christmas 2020 may be a distant memory, but this hasn't stopped two UK based artists from releasing material with a festive theme. Max Restaino is a UK based multi-instrumentalist and singer, who's released a single from his forthcoming album 'Another Rainy Night in Paris' and Ollie West and his band 'The Wildflowers follow suit, with a festive theme aimed at raising money for the worthy charity, the 'Red Cross UK Crisis' appeal, and both tracks will feature on 'The Jazz Hour' this week.

Add to that, if you will, tracks featuring Max Roach, Joe, Pass, Percy Humphrey, Gene Krupa, Ken Colyer and Digby Fairweather and of course, there will be much, much more.

So, why not join me on Sunday evening from 9pm here on Longside Radio for some great music.

Have a great weekend!!

Longside Radio - Where Variety Matters

Hello. On 'The Jazz Hour' for this week, I have a real mixed-bag of music for you with tracks featuring Herbie Nicholls, Frank Wess, Henry 'Red' Allen and Bucky Pizzerelli.

My 'back to back' features a band I saw live at the 'Pershore Jazz Club' here in Worcestershire, some time ago now, 'The Bateman Brothers' and the January 'Album of the Month' gets another 'airing' with a track featuring 'our very own' Ken Colyer.

So, with much, much more 'on offer', why not join me on Sunday evening from 9pm here on Longside Radio for one hour of some great jazz!

Have a great weekend!!
